  • Gop : a cowherd, a milkman, Child hood's Boy friend of Lord Krishna.
  • Gopi : a cowherd's wife, Child hood's girl friend of Lord Krishna.
  • Harem / Haram : female apartments, part of Mahal where Begums were live.
  • Holi : A colourful Indian festival which falls on the tlast day of the bright half of phalgun month ( March), songs sungs and throw colored water during this festival.
  • Hookah : a Hubble bubble
  • Indra : King of Dev or Devta
  • Kaumidi : moon light , the full moonday of the lunar month Ashwin ( September/October) or Kartik (October/November)
  • Kaumidini : water lily, asphodel, fleurdelis
  • Krishna : An Indian God, dark , black, blue.
  • Kubja : a hunch-backed woman, a walking stick which has a bent handle
  • Lakshmi : the Goddess of wealth, prosperity, fortune, beauty, success, splendor, royal power, the mistress of a house.
  • Maha-bharat : The great war between the descendants of Bharat, the great epic complied by Vyasa containing an account of the dissensions and wars of the Pandavas and Kurus.
  • Mahal : a palace, a stately mansion , an eminent structure, a harem
  • Maharaja : a great king, majesty, Highness, excellency, potentate, a great ruler
  • Maharana : the title of the Rajput Kings of Udaipur, Chittor and Mewar
  • Maharani : an empress , a queen
  • Mahout : Elephant Driver
  • Monsoon : rainy season
  • Nawab : the governor of a town, the title of a Mohammedan ruler
  • Nayak : Hero, a guide, leader , chief , master , an eminent person
  • Nayika : Heroine , a beautiful young woman
  • Padmini : a lily, a small lotus , a lake abounding in lotus flowers
  • Radha : favourite mistress of Lord Krishna , affection, lightning
  • Ragini : Modification of a musical mode.
  • Raja : a King, lord, a monarch, a sovereign, a master,
  • Rakhi : A Indian festival of Brother & sisters, a wrist - band or amulet.
  • Rakshas : a demon, a wicked person, an ogre , a giant , a monster.
  • Rakshasi : an ogress , a giantess
  • Ram / Rama : God Ram
  • Ramayana : Valmiki's famous epic written in Sanskrit which describes the adventures of Lord Rama.
  • Rana : a title of Rajputs, a king of Rajputana
  • Rani : Queen
  • Ravan : the ten - headed demon King of Sri Lanka who was killed by Lord Rama
  • Shah : King of Iran ( Persia)
  • Shiv / Shiva : Diety Mahadeva, prosperous, happy
  • Vasant : the spring season, a certain musical mode
  • Vishnu : one of the three principal divinities of Hindu mythology and he is supposed to be the preserver of the world
