Two long tail roosters are playing around flowers. Japanese long tail chickens have been bred for their decorative long tails, which can be grown to 3 meter (10 feet) long. This design was formally believed to be Hokusai's but now, it is attributed to Taito II's. Taito II was known as "Inu-Hokusai" (Dog Hokusai). He sometimes forged his master Hokusai's signature on his own works.
